UPCOMING EVENTS

Four presidential candidates have recently presented their ambitious promises and credible visions for Kenya through the launch of their political manifestos. However, some political analysts argue that their promises do not offer long-term policy solutions given their populistic nature and the current state of the economy.

Aside from the political promises, concerns linger as to the electoral commission’s ability to deliver a free and fair election on the 8th of August.   As Kenya enters the home stretch of the 2022 election season, counting down less than 30 days to the elections, one might wonder whether the current election laws are sufficient to deliver credible elections.
